WORD MAIL MERGE

FOR LABELS, ENVELOPES, LETTERS, ETC.

 

Tools > Letters & Mailings > Mail Merge Wizard

 

Step 1:  Select document type – let’s say labels

Step 2:  Select type of labels from Label Options

Step 3:  Select recipients – Browse for Excel or Access database – unclick anyone you don’t want on labels.

Step 4:  Arrange your labels

       choose what info you want on labels (address block puts all fields in; 

       or select “More Items “ so you can choose what fields you want on labels, note cards, etc.  

o       Select field, Insert, Close (hit enter or space bar accordingly)

o       Repeat by hitting More Items in the task pane again & repeat previous process

       Update all labels

Step 5:  Preview labels

Step 6:  Complete the merge
